Sheridan is proud to announce a new partnership with the University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) that expands opportunities for students pursuing careers in health care and biomedical sciences.

Sheridan administrator Gabriel Levine and University of Niagara Falls Canada administrator Janine Gray stand side by side in front of signage representing the two institutions.Through a newly signed articulation agreement, graduates of Sheridan’s Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees certificate program can now transfer directly into UNF’s Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences program.

“The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway certificate has become an essential part of our curriculum in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This pathway creates a clear next step for our students,” said Gabriel Levine, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences at Sheridan. “Most importantly, it gives Sheridan students confidence that the hard work they put in here will help them reach their goals in health care and biomedical sciences.”

This agreement creates a clear and streamlined pathway from college to university. Eligible Sheridan graduates may receive credit for up to 13 courses (39 credits) at UNF, accelerating their progress toward earning a university degree.

“This is more than a credit transfer – it’s a springboard for the next generation of health care leaders,” said Janine Gray, Associate Dean of Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at UNF. “We’re proud to partner with Sheridan to give students a clear, supported pathway from college to university and into careers that make a real difference.”

At UNF, students will build on the strong academic foundation developed at Sheridan while preparing for careers in biomedical research, health care, and related professional fields.

Together, Sheridan and UNF are strengthening postsecondary pathways that are efficient, student-centered, and aligned with Ontario’s evolving workforce needs – helping students move forward with confidence toward meaningful careers in health and science.
